Our story

The hours that make a home

We make the warm, quiet kind of light a home is built from. Here is our story, told the way we know it best: by the hour, from first light to last.

By Meredith began with a simple belief. A room does not need to be brighter to feel better. It needs to be warmer, softer, and more yours.

  1. 07:00Morning

    First light

Morning asks for very little. A calm, even glow and a room that feels unhurried. It is where our love of simple, honest materials begins.

  2. 17:00Late afternoon

    Golden hour

As the day softens, the right lamp changes everything. Our table lamps in turned wood, linen and warm metal are made for this moment, casting a light that flatters a room and the people in it.

  3. 20:30Evening

    After dark

When the sun drops, the garden comes alive. Solar bollards and path lights turn a patio into somewhere you want to linger, with no wiring and no fuss.

  4. 22:30Night

    The small hours

Late evening is for winding down. A reed or plug-in diffuser fills the room with a quiet, grounding scent, the kind that greets you at the door and stays as the house goes still.

Why we do it

Made to belong

Nothing here is designed to shout. Every piece is chosen by hand for how it feels in a real home, not just how it looks in a photo. We care about the small things, because the small things are what a home is made of.

Come on in

Find your light

Wherever you are in the day, we hope there is something here worth living with.
